Aikishia Cochran, LPC

My name is Aikishia “Kishia” Cochran and I am currently a Licenced Professional
Counselor. I have a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from National Louis
University and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Lewis University. I have
worked in a variety of settings such as schools, group homes and nonprofit. I am
passionate about assisting clients as they embrace their current needs at this time in
their lives and to give them hope and peace for the future.

I have over 8 years experience working with various populations of children,
adolescents and young adults dealing with challenges that include anxiety, depression,
bullying, self-harm, self-exploration, family dysfunction and grief. I have also supported
special education and special needs students and families who experience challenges
with Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities and learning disabilities.

I describe my therapy style as client centered with an integrative approach. Since
therapy is not one size fits all, I will tailor my approach according to the challenges
clients are facing. I am committed to walk alongside you on your journey so that you will
feel seen, heard, and empowered as you move through the natural process of finding
meaning, healing, self discovery and growth.
